Individual differences and preferences aside, the designer needs to consider more than a small sampling of people before solidifying the colour scheme that will appear on the site.

Some web designers will solicit the opinion of fellow designers, friends, family and even people visiting their sites. Of course individual differences will cause disagreements, but generally your friends or associates will tell you if there is a problem with colour coordination.
